WHAT IS SCULPTRA®?

Sculptra® is an injectable biostimulator that gradually restores lost facial volume by stimulating your skin’s natural collagen production. The key ingredient, poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), works deep within the skin to rebuild structural support and improve elasticity over time.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

After injection, Sculptra® triggers a regenerative response, prompting the body to replace lost collagen. Unlike traditional fillers that provide immediate volume, Sculptra® delivers subtle, natural-looking results that develop over several months. Most patients require a series of treatments spaced a few weeks apart, with full results becoming visible within 4-6 months. The effects of Sculptra® can last up to two years or more, offering long-term facial rejuvenation.

WHAT IS RADIESSE®?

Radiesse® is a dual-action dermal filler that instantly restores lost volume while also stimulating collagen production for longer-lasting results. Its unique formula contains calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres, which provide immediate lift and contouring.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Once injected, Radiesse® adds instant volume to the treated area while the microspheres work to stimulate natural collagen growth. Over time, the gel carrier is absorbed by the body, leaving behind newly generated collagen that maintains the skin’s structure and firmness. Radiesse® is ideal for enhancing facial contours, softening wrinkles, and rejuvenating areas like the hands. Results are visible immediately and can last up to 12-18 months, depending on the individual.

PRE-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS

Avoid blood thinning medications and vitamins 48 hours before treatment.

POST TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS

Massage the treated areas 5 times a day for 5 minutes each time, for at least 5 days following your treatment
Avoid any strenuous activity, excessive sun or heat exposure, exposure to extreme cold, or drinking alcoholic beverages for 24 hours following treatment.
Wait for at least 2 weeks before receiving any other aesthetic treatments.
Apply a cold pack to reduce swelling.
Avoid wearing makeup for 8 hours after your treatment.
Take Tylenol (Acetaminophen) for comfort if needed.

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS

Temporary bruising, swelling, bumps, redness, tenderness.

Please contact us immediately if you have severe pain, your skin is cool to touch, or blanching occurs.

How long will I typically see results?

Clinical trials show 25 months.

Will I need to repeat my series again?

Not typically. Touch ups will be required after 25+ months to maintain results.

I don’t want to look “filled”. Is this a good option for me?

Yes! Biostimulators stimulate your own collagen and builds volume. It is also a gradual result with lots of check in points!
